I wish to compliment the efficient and pleasant way I was treated by staff at Irvinestown Health Centre.
My husband arrived home unexpectantly from work at 10.10 on Wednesday 22/02/17. He was feeling unwell with symptoms of dizziness and nausea. I telephoned the surgery and the telephone was answered on the second ring by a very pleasant receptionist who stated her name and asked how she could help. I explained my situation and enquired if there would be any possibility of my husband seeing a Doctor. She politely responded and offered me an appointment for 3.45 that afternoon.
My husband arrived and was seen promptly by Dr McCaw who was polite and professional. The medication he was prescribed was effective and he was able to resume work the next day.
We were both treated with respect and efficiency. It was reasurring to be seen that day and meant that he did not have any time off work and was examined and reassured without waiting and worrying.
